The third quarter of 2026 marked another period of positive developments for the GGFI Account in West Visayas, as we continued to strengthen our field operations, support additional manpower requirements, and reinforce our commitment to delivering quality merchandising services.
One of the encouraging developments this quarter was the additional manpower requirements entrusted to Accord-Aces by our client, GGFI. This reflects the continuing partnership between our organizations and provides us with greater opportunities to support the client’s growing operational needs.
As our workforce expands, our responsibility goes beyond simply filling manpower requirements. We must ensure that every merchandiser is properly trained, closely supervised, and equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform effectively in the field.
Through regular trade visits, employee coaching, and product knowledge training, we continue working toward our goal of maintaining consistent merchandising standards and improving overall field performance across West Visayas.
One of our key priorities this quarter was conducting regular trade check visits, particularly for our newly hired roving merchandisers, merchandisers, and coordinators.
These visits allow us to personally assess field performance, monitor compliance with assigned duties and responsibilities, and ensure that merchandising activities are being carried out according to established operational standards and client expectations.
More importantly, trade visits provide an opportunity to engage directly with our field personnel, understand the challenges they encounter in their assigned stores, and provide immediate guidance and coaching when necessary.
By maintaining a visible and proactive supervisory presence, we aim to strengthen accountability, improve coordination, and ensure that our merchandisers consistently deliver quality service.
Effective field supervision is not simply about checking performance—it is about guiding our people, addressing concerns, and helping them succeed in their responsibilities.
Employee development also remained an important focus for the GGFI Account during the third quarter.
We conducted orientation and training sessions for newly hired merchandisers, emphasizing basic call procedures, product knowledge, operational standards, and proper merchandising practices.
The sessions covered essential areas such as store coordination, customer engagement, compliance with company and store policies, accurate reporting, and the proper execution of merchandising responsibilities.
Participants were also reminded of the importance of understanding GGFI’s product portfolio, client expectations, and established merchandising guidelines to ensure that they can effectively represent the brands entrusted to them.
Beyond technical skills, the training reinforced professionalism, discipline, accountability, and the importance of maintaining positive working relationships with store personnel and client representatives.
Our objective is to ensure that every newly deployed merchandiser understands not only what is expected of them, but also how their individual performance contributes to the overall success of the account.
By investing in training and continuous coaching, we aim to develop a more knowledgeable, confident, and performance-driven merchandising team.
As we enter the final quarter of 2026, our focus remains on sustaining the progress we have achieved and continuously improving our field operations.
With the additional manpower requirements entrusted to us by GGFI, we recognize the importance of maintaining deployment readiness, consistent field monitoring, employee development, and compliance with client standards.
We will continue strengthening our trade check activities, supporting our newly hired merchandisers, and ensuring that operational concerns are addressed promptly.
I would like to recognize the dedication of our merchandisers, roving merchandisers, coordinators, and the entire West Visayas operations team for their continued hard work and commitment.
I would also like to extend our appreciation to GGFI for its continued trust and partnership with Accord-Aces. We remain committed to supporting the client’s operational requirements and delivering the level of service expected from our organization.
As we move forward, let us continue working together with discipline, accountability, and a shared commitment to excellence.
Because successful merchandising begins with well-trained people, strong field supervision, and consistent execution.
