Operational excellence is more than simply meeting daily targets. It is about ensuring that every merchandiser, every store, and every field activity consistently delivers the quality of service that our clients expect from Accord-Aces.
For the North and South Mindanao Operations Team, operational excellence is built on four essential pillars: People Management, Execution, Compliance, and Store Relationships.
These pillars guide our daily activities and reinforce our commitment to delivering consistent, reliable, and measurable results across our assigned territories.
Our people are at the center of successful field operations. We prioritize attendance monitoring, coaching, training, and the consistent implementation of company policies to ensure that our merchandisers are equipped to perform their responsibilities effectively.
Through regular communication, performance monitoring, and timely guidance, we aim to build a team that understands the importance of discipline, accountability, and service excellence.
Strong execution begins with the fundamentals: ensuring product availability, proper shelf facing, accurate product displays, and effective promotional implementation.
Our team continuously monitors stock availability, inventory concerns, promotional compliance, and weekly store coverage to ensure that our clients’ products receive the visibility and attention they deserve.
Compliance remains a critical part of our operational discipline.
We closely monitor attendance accuracy through CMOS and manual records, reinforce proper grooming and conduct, and ensure adherence to established company standards and reporting requirements.
Our objective is to maintain reliable field information, strengthen accountability, and minimize operational discrepancies.
Successful merchandising operations also depend on strong working relationships with store managers and other key store personnel.
By maintaining open communication, responding promptly to concerns, and addressing issues involving manpower deployment, stock availability, and product displays, we continue to build trust and strengthen our presence across our assigned stores.
In July 2026, I was entrusted with the additional responsibility of overseeing North Mindanao, alongside my existing South Mindanao coverage.
Recognizing the importance of a smooth transition, I immediately conducted an online alignment meeting with the North Mindanao Team to communicate our operational priorities, clarify expectations, and establish a common direction.
During the turnover, the team’s reported compliance levels stood at approximately 60% for On-Shelf Availability (OSA) and 46% for CMOS inventory compliance.
These figures highlighted the need for stronger monitoring, closer coordination, and more consistent execution.
Through focused supervision, regular follow-ups, and stronger accountability across the field team, we were able to achieve a significant improvement, with reported compliance increasing to 88%.
This progress demonstrated what can be accomplished when a team works toward clearly defined goals and takes collective ownership of operational results.
One of our most significant achievements during the third quarter was reaching 100% reported compliance across North and South Mindanao, together with 100% manpower deployment.
These milestones reflect the dedication of our merchandisers and the collective efforts of the entire Mindanao Operations Team.
Beyond the numbers, these accomplishments represent improved operational discipline, stronger coordination, and a shared commitment to meeting client expectations.
Our focus remains on sustaining these results through consistent monitoring, continuous coaching, and proactive issue resolution.
Throughout Q3 2026, our team also strengthened its operational presence through store visits, field monitoring, and direct engagement with store management.
These activities allowed us to assess actual store conditions, reinforce merchandising standards, address operational concerns, and strengthen relationships with our retail partners.
Among the stores and locations covered were:
These field engagements reinforced an important principle: effective leadership requires visibility, consistent communication, and direct involvement in day-to-day operations.
Our achievements during the third quarter are important milestones, but operational excellence requires continuous effort.
Moving forward, our priorities remain focused on sustaining compliance, maintaining full manpower deployment, strengthening store relationships, improving reporting accuracy, and ensuring that our merchandisers consistently meet the standards expected by our clients.
I would also like to recognize the commitment and cooperation of our North and South Mindanao merchandisers, whose daily efforts have contributed to these improvements.
With continued teamwork, discipline, and accountability, we are confident that we can build on our progress and deliver even stronger results in the coming quarters.
“Right People. Right Place. Right Time. Right Execution.”
Because operational excellence is not achieved through one successful day—it is built through consistent performance, every day, in every store.
